There are two main modes of transport to Rottnest Island and they include by Ferry from Fremantle or Perth via Boat Torque and Ferry from Hillarys boat Harbour using Rottnest Fast Ferries.Cruise to Rottnest will generally take approximately 25 minutes from Fremantle, 45 minutes from Hillarys or 90 minutes from Perth's Barrack Street Jetty.
The other mode of transport is by light aircraft from Jandakot Airport which takes about 15 minutes and costs around $80.
